Learn the fundamentals of the 3D extrusion-based printing process from beginning to end using Autodesk Fusion software and 3D scanning devices. In this 3 day workshop you will learn the basics of digital 3D modeling and produce your own sculptures comprised of PLA (“Polyactic Acid” - A biodegradable and environmentally friendly plastic). This workshop may be combined with a Foundry Casting class to take your model from 3D print to bronze or aluminum. Students in this class who also register for either of the following two Foundry Casting workshops will receive 10% off this workshop. Cancellation Policy: The last day to receive a full refund for a workshop is one month prior to the start of the class. Workshop fees can be used as credit for another class until 14 days before the start of the workshop. After that, there are no refunds. There are no exceptions to this including personal and job related issues (sickness included). The only way to receive a cash refund past the one month deadline is for the student to find someone to take their spot. YVML will also do its best to promote the open spot.
