Learn how to make basic silicone and alginate molds. This workshop will explore the technique of creating flexible molds of found objects, sculpted models and skin. Students will finish the class with a mold that could potentially be used in future YVML casting classes such as glass or metal. These molds can be used to cast resins plaster, concrete, or to produce wax models for casting later in glass and metal. Mold making materials are included.

Cancellation Policy: The last day to receive a full refund for a workshop is one month prior to the start of the class. Workshop fees can be used as credit for another class until 14 days before the start of the workshop. After that, there are no refunds. There are no exceptions to this including personal and job related issues (sickness included). The only way to receive a cash refund past the one month deadline is for the student to find someone to take their spot. YVML will also do its best to promote the open spot.
